BPS Schedules Community Meetings for Potential School Attendance Boundary Changes

VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard Public Schools (BPS) will hold four community meetings to gather public input regarding proposals to change school attendance boundaries in the Brevard County School District. The dates and locations of the meetings are:

Date:	November 7, 2011
Location:	Meadowlane Intermediate Elementary School Cafeteria 2700 Wingate Blvd. West Melbourne, FL 32904
Time:	6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
1) Proposal to be discussed:	Reduce Enrollment at Meadowlane and Riviera Elementary Schools
Schools Potentially Affected:	Croton ES, Lockmar ES, Meadowlane Intermediate ES, Meadowlane Primary ES, Riviera ES, Roy Allen ES, Sabal ES, and University Park ES

Location:	Andrew Jackson Middle School Cafeteria 1515 Knox McRae Drive Titusville, FL 32780
Time:	6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
1) Proposal to be discussed:	Change Attendance Boundaries between Astronaut and Titusville High Schools and Madison and Jackson Middle Schools

2) Proposal to be discussed:	Close Riverview Elementary School

2) Proposal to be discussed:	Convert Roosevelt Elementary School to a Middle School
