BPS Teacher to Present at The Florida Future Educators
of America Annual State Conference
TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Imperial Estates Elementary School
teacher, Christina Donohue, was selected to present at
The Florida Future Educators of America Annual State
conference. Donohue, who will share “Extreme
Science Fun,” was chosen to present to participants
because of her enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to
education.
Secondary and postsecondary students who are on the
verge of making a critical decision to pursue the field
of education will dare to enter Donohue’s extreme
science class where hands-on messy learning is a must!
Attendees will push their seats aside and dig into fun,
messy learning so they can understand how to engage
students and get them excited about science.
Participants will experiment with a science lab that
promises to get their attention with brightly glowing,
ooey-gooey slime, black lights and laughter.
Donohue is a fourth grade teacher and National
Elementary Honor Society Advisor at Imperial Estates
Elementary School in Titusville. She is in her seventh
year with Brevard County Schools and was the district’s
2010 Teacher of the Year. The Florida Future Educators of America Annual State conference will be held January 27 – 29, 2012 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando.
